Could they have any more flowers?

The Eiger (the first of many, many photos)

Its not a milkman its a milk...

Schwarzhorn is in there somewhere

A different angle of the Eiger

Another face of the Eiger.

The trail

What a hot summer will do to a large pile of snow.
The trail
One of the shadows you get with very steep north facing mountain sides

Oberer Grindelwald gletscher
The trail went not behind but through this waterfall.
Looking back.
Grindelwald
A waterfall that hasn't the flow to make it to the bottom.
Some seriously cracked ice.
The big drop.

A rather more challenging bit.

The hut

Looking back

Looking down

But I'm going further.

Now it got interesting. I had to descend to cross a river.

Its juts like climbing a ladder.
The only wildlife I saw all week fortunately I took the opportunity.

They don't have any bells so I hope they aren't just goats.

At the end of the trail there seemed to be ice in all directions.

There were even glaciers just above me.

Like the glacier I must go this way.

Descending to cross that stream again

Fortunately those steps were stronger than they looked.

Schwarzhorn looking very sinister

That waterfall again
It started to cloud up
Strange light

Back in the valley
